GRAPEFRUIT
Golden Special - Improved from the well-known Morrison’s Seedless.
Fruit large, juicy and deliciously flavoured. Flesh finely grained, richly
coloured and quite free of seeds. Skin colour rich golden, thin and easily
peeled. Ripens in July and continues through November. The best for
breakfasts, drinks and marmalade.
Hawaiian - Vigorous growing. Large size fruit pale in colour -
thickish skin. Requires warm climates.
Jamaican - Fruit medium to large size - pale in colour. Again
requires a warmer climate.
Wheeney - Thick-skinned and juicy, ripens from November to March.
Fruit is large, with pale yellow skin, light coloured flesh, vigorous
growing.
Cutlers Red - Deep red skin. Very similar to Golden Special in
quality. Good bearer. Ripens July/August. Highly ornamental.
