FRUIT TREES

Feijoa - Small evergreen that can grow up to 12 feet in height. The tree is fairly hardy and resistant to many diseases and pests. Additionally, the Feijoa tree produces small, inch-long flowers that are white in colour with some sprinkling of purple in them. These flowers bloom in the spring. Fruits appear on a Feijoa tree once the tree has aged approximately three years from initial seeding.

Persimmon -
Persimmon is the name given to the usually edible fruits of some species of the genus Diospyros. This genus includes various shrubs and trees native to the tropics and subtropical areas of the world. Persimmons are cultivated widely in Japan and China as ornamentals and for their fruits, some of which also produce a useful dye.

Tamarillo - The tamarillo, also known as the tree tomato, is an unusual, exotic, subtropical fruit that can also be used in vegetable dishes. The fruits that are produced from this tree grow either singly or in clusters. Additionally, the fruits are sized at approximately two to four inches in length.

Golden Queen Peach - Truly the Queen of all peaches, this perennial favourite with its deep golden colour and firm flesh makes it the best preserver of all. But don't discount it as an eating peach. You may be surprised.
